Paladin Dialer
Place a call from your phone
From Contacts, Calls or the keypad.
Tap a name or number in the Paladin Dialer and the app places the call through Paladin. The person you call sees your Paladin number, and Paladin transcribes the call and files it in your dashboard.
- Open Paladin Dialer and choose where to call from:
- Contacts: type a name or number under Search people and numbers, then tap the person. Each row shows where it comes from: Candidate, Team, or Phone (your phone’s contacts).
- Calls: tap the phone icon next to a past call.
- Keypad: enter the number, then tap Call via Paladin.
- Your phone’s Phone app takes over. On iPhone, confirm the call when iPhone asks. On Android the call starts on its own.
- Wait a few seconds while Paladin connects the call. You may hear tones before it rings through.
- Talk as usual. Hang up in the Phone app when you’re done.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”About 15 seconds into the call, a bar appears at the bottom of the app: Call in progress. Tap it to follow the call live. See See a call live on your phone.
The call shows at the top of Calls right away. In the dashboard’s Calls list, calls from the Dialer are marked mobile. If the number belongs to a candidate in Paladin, the call is filed on their record.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- “Invalid number.” The Dialer only calls US numbers. Check that the number has 10 digits, or 11 starting with 1.
- “No number on file for this contact.” Tap the info icon next to the contact to check their numbers, or add one to the candidate in Paladin.
- The call doesn’t reach the person. This phone needs to be one of the phones under Phone Numbers in your Profile. Add its number there, then call again.
- The call isn’t transcribed. It was placed from your phone’s own dialer or Contacts app instead of the Paladin Dialer. Hang up and call again from the Paladin Dialer.
