Set up your account

Your first sign-in, in about a minute.

The first time you sign in, Paladin asks for three things: the phone that should ring when candidates call you, the name candidates see on caller ID, and a password of your own. It takes about a minute.

  1. Sign in with the email address and temporary password from your invite. The welcome screen opens. Select Let’s go.
  2. Under Your phone number, enter the number of the phone you want to ring when candidates call you, usually your cell. If it isn’t a US number, choose the country code first. Select Next.
  3. Under How candidates see you, check your Display name (caller ID). This is the name candidates see when you call them, and the name Paladin uses for you in call scripts. Check that your Timezone is right, then select Next.
  4. Under Set your password, enter a new password of at least 8 characters, then enter it again under Confirm password. Select Next.
  5. Check the summary, then select Start recruiting.

Paladin opens your Home page. From now on, when someone calls your Paladin number, your phone rings. You don’t need a desk phone or a plugin.

You can change any of these settings later in your Profile.

  • The Next button stays gray. Something on that step is missing. You need a phone number on step 1 and a display name on step 2. On the password step, the password must be at least 8 characters and both entries must match. If they don’t, you’ll see Passwords don’t match.
  • Your temporary password doesn’t work. Ask the person who sent your invite for a new one.
  • You get an error when you select Start recruiting. Your answers are still there. Select Back to check each step, then try again. If it keeps failing, use the feedback link at the bottom of this page.
