Jobs
Create a job
From a title and a job description to a researched job.
Add the job from the Jobs page. Give it a title and a job description, and Paladin researches the role. You end up with a job page that call scripts, fit scores, and candidate matching all work from.
- Open Jobs and select Add Job.
- Enter the Title, for example “Diesel Mechanic”.
- Under Job Provider (Company), choose the client the job is for. If they aren’t in the list, choose + Add New Provider, enter their Name, and select Save.
- If the job is posted online, paste the link into Job Post URL.
- Add the job description. Drag the file into the box, or click the box to pick a file. You can also paste the text into Paste job description.
- Select Research & Process.
To add the job without starting research, select Add instead of Research & Process. You can start research later from the job’s page with Research Job.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”The job’s page opens and the research starts. A progress panel shows what Paladin is doing, under Agent Activity. You can stay and watch or come back later. When it’s done, the page shows the research, including the Job Analysis.
If you attached a file, it appears under Documents on the job’s page. Paladin reads it in the background.
The job starts as active and shows on your Jobs page and on Home, because you created it, so you own it. You can edit the title, description, and other details on the job’s page: select a value to change it.
Next steps:
- Link the job’s hiring manager, so you can send them candidate reports. See Add a hiring manager.
- To have Paladin suggest candidates from your database, scroll to Who to research and select Find candidates.
- When the job is on hold, filled, or closed, select the status next to the job’s title and choose the new one.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- The Add and Research & Process buttons stay gray. The job needs a Title. Enter one.
- A message says the file “exceeds 10 MB limit.” Use a smaller file, or paste the text into Paste job description instead.
- A message says the file “has unsupported type.” Paladin reads PDF, DOCX, TXT, CSV, MD, HTML, JPG, and PNG files. Save the description in one of those formats, or paste the text.
- You can’t find the job on the Jobs page. You may be looking at another recruiter’s job. Tick Show all jobs to see everyone’s.
- The research shows something wrong about the job. Fix the job description or add a note on the job’s page, then select Re-Research Job.
