Paladin Dialer

See a call live on your phone

The Call Console, inside the app, while you talk.

While a call you placed from the Dialer is in progress, the app can show the Call Console: the live transcript and the AI’s suggestions, on the same phone. Viewing it doesn’t affect the call.

  1. During the call, switch from your Phone app back to Paladin Dialer. Use speaker or headphones so you can talk while you look.
  2. Tap the Call in progress bar at the bottom of the screen (Open console). You can also tap Call in progress at the top of the Calls tab.
  3. The live console opens, titled Live and the number you called. It starts on Intelligence. Switch to Transcript or Prep with the tabs at the top.
  4. To have Paladin explain the last thing that was said, tap Explain that on Intelligence.
  5. Hang up in your Phone app when you’re done. The console has no hang-up button; leaving it doesn’t end the call.

When the call ends, the bar goes away. The summary appears on the call a minute or two later: open Calls and tap the call. See Review a call on your phone.

  • The Call in progress bar doesn’t appear. Paladin takes about 15 seconds to register the call. Switch away from the app and back to check again. If it still doesn’t appear, the call didn’t go through Paladin, for example because it was placed from your phone’s own dialer.
  • “Couldn’t load the call console.” Check your phone’s connection, go back, and tap the bar again.
